PC isn't listed as a job on Walmart careers anymore, we all know it's going away but can anyone give us a date. Talk about, respect transparency!!!!! How about it, We all are waiting!!! When you ask a higher up and instantly they won't look you in the eye, change subject. PLEASE just let us know.

Have done all those routines in neighborhood market and high volume supercenter and mid volume. Noone thought invoicing would be eliminated but it happened. Pc and tc will eventually be outsourced it's coming. Noone here on this thread is being nasty the truth hurts rip the band aid and quit holding anger we have pills for that or you can get a colonic for your mouth.
The PC position is still in the external applicant selection and internal position under offices. So, I am not sure what you are all freaking out about. Changes are coming, no doubt. Just look at the ASM having to do spark training, not the TC for your store and look at the new Pathways just posted that included more responsibility for the ASM and hourly supervisors....Yes it is seems something is coming ... STAYED TUNED FOR THE E HOLLYWOOD TRUE STORY.....

Who do you think Works the LOA's, Unemployment, safety folders, sets up interviews, back ground checks, Meal exceptions, monitors Attend exceptions, works on sch. variance, exception reports, job offers, balances talent, community grants, your time when it is wrong. Compliance paperwork, conducts orientation, prescreens for the right before they are paired with an ASM for an interview to ensure a warm body is not being hired. Runs the locker program, legally responsible for all record keeping in facility, and listens to the countless concerns and fear during the day to assist SM in fixing what we can before making it to him. Balances FT PT for your store to remain in line with the goals.Not to mention the files! and now we have to entertain you with functions ...... Oh but wait...YOU can do all that right??? GO right ahead, you will not last a week.Once this is on your plate times 2, you will fold like laundry....If your team is not supporting you assoc. and salary people, then maybe you just have the wrong folks in your store.

Yes, I heard Sept. 1st . Pc remains in altered roll and TC goes away. ASM are already using Ipads to assist with live real time train. in the PC office. Here it comes...

Exactly Div 1 stores are smaller, and they are not replacing PC. Thank you for telling the entire truth. Some stores will retain them, Some stores will expand on the role and some will even move to one person in that area. I checked myself and it is still in all areas and included in store according to the size and sales of the store.
So if PC is being eliminated by region, which region is next?
It depends on the store you work in. I am in a div 1 store in califirnia. Our p/c retired 2 months ago. It is not in career preference for our store anymore. Everyone that has asked about applying for it has been told the position won't be filled because it's getting eliminated soon. We have an asm doing it now. Some stores are losing p/c's! Some are not. Stop calling people names! So childish!

@SFOwkRG-1vdt not sure what site you checked but go to walmartcareers.com and see what you find for P/C. In the southeast US, it is not there, nor if position becomes vacant are they replacing. Not starting gossip, that's been going on for YRS. stating the facts. Maybe you should do some research and see what you find.
LAWD HERE WE GO..... PC is still listed under office positions, and yes the it is still there...Go put in an application and you will see it listed. Yes, the job desc. is still there. The position is not going away, it will be renamed. Stop creating issues and spreading gossip. If you are going to tell it, tell the whole truth..

They aren't telling you because they don't want to lose all of the p/c's before the job is eliminated. It's coming though. Sept is what I've heard from a few different people higher up. Both T/C & P/C are being eliminated. T/C is being renamed and made part time. P/C will be done by mngrs.
