Huge local employer lays off thousands of citizens. H1B hiring continues apace.

You'd think thats a break story from 2015 right ? No. Not covered.

2018, same deal. Thousands of Americans laid off; fake H1Bs continue...........no story here. Nothing to see. Move along now.

UT would never publish this, it too close to the truth.

The UT has always been a propaganda rag, not so much pro-Qualcomm as it is "it's always Sunny in San Diego." They won't report on anything that might give San Diego a black eye unless the city itself, including the PD, approves it.

The UT is long known to be VERY pro Q and very very unlikely to be critical.

Likewise KPBS - after all, they are funded by Jacobs clan.

The little sdreader tends to run critical articles. Once in a long while they will slam Q for their widely known visa abuses and general fixing of the employment space. Go read stuff by Bauder.
