With all the recent layoffs taking place and more hanging over our heads every single day, why in the world is Molina hiring so many people right now???
Just look at job postings on usual pages that have them, there are dozens of open positions, and some have even been posted yesterday?!
What is the point???
Responding to the re-hire question, just call or email HR to remove that section from the severance agreement before signing. Better safe than sorry.

Does anyone know if the recently laid off employees are eligible for re-hire despite severance agreement?
They are replacing those they let go, as well as those who left on their own, with people who will work for less money. I know this because the position I was laid off from in September, is posted. My former supervisor told me I could feel free to apply for the position but that the salary is significantly less.
When people leave on their own, it messes up Molina's layoff plan, and they need to bring in new people to backfill. Don't think for a second that the company is doing this for the long term. There are no new strategic projects (both business and IT) being discussed.
