A little too quiet for my taste... Or I might just be getting paranoid... But if I am, can anybody actually blame me?
In any case, are there any news on layoffs in Cisco any time soon or no?

I am with Cisco for 5 years and received just one Salary raise so far that too barely beat the inflation. My salary is pretty stagnant despite receiving multiple connected recognitions for my contributions.
Good salary in rupees. hahahaha, you made my day. Does India allow immigrants to work in India on a visa (similar to h1b in US)? I wanna relocate there, I heard life is so damn good.
I work in CCBU in Bangalore location and I got 18% increment this time. Last year there was no increment as I was working for Cisco through vendor Wipro. Cisco is giving very good salary now.

"Why worry about things that you can't control"?!? That's the key statement right there......and the irony is that you should be able to "control" whether you get cut by doing a great job, but that's not how it works at Cisco. So yeah.....you worry, everyone worries.....not a great work life.
@SI5s21Z-kqn that's exactly the right idea. We're covered by the cisco people deal - it's will see us through!
Why worry about things that you can't control? It comes when it comes. In the meantime, just do the best job you can and be enthusiastic about Cisco.
Or any update on the sale??
