Glad I retired but I know a lot of union and salary employees and they all say the same thing. LAYOFFS! 2 more waves of layoffs coming the first was in January the second is in Late May and the third is in September.

Old news. There will be layoffs throughout 2018 and beyond according to JF's recent interview with CNBC and given the company's precarious financial state. Keeep looking jobs out side GE.
The Union in Schenectady is notorious for hiding information from the membership. They won’t even give their members an updated seniority list so that they can see where they stand in case god forbid there are more layoffs. I thought the national contract stated that the company is required to give the Union an updated seniority list twice a year....i could understand GE not wanting a seniority list floating around the floor because it could effect morale but why is the Union not being transparent with information that should be available to the members who pay their dues week in and week out?
