GE power numbers are horrible and earnings and cash fl0ow dropping another 88% over last year
Two decades of bad management and what power has become under this is the reason
GE Power used to be a real cash earner but now cant make money with present bloated management structure
Even planned mass layoffs wont fix this present mess
Appears the bean counters and six sigma power point jockeys have really done a number on Power with all of the recent Fast Works fun which is just another way of quickly producing products at poor quality using minimally viable products that result in high cost of quality and which damage the brand and reduce likelihood of future sales.

From the streets, GE Power competition is pissed at their recent sales tactics. GE sales are dropping their shorts on services pricing. No surprise they are very desperate to close deals at GE. Makes sense in these challenging times. Problem is this business segment has always had decent margins. New units sales traditionally had lower margins. If you read GE earnings statements for 2017. Margins on sales were at a record low. 2018 may be another record low ...will see. I can tell you there is not much in the hopper for new units for Power. Stokes is going to have to do the kooky dance Friday explaining once again that this is a challenging market and GE struggling to maintain CFOA and margins.
2017 was a bad year yet Power generated $36 Billion in revenue and $2.2 Billion in earnings while generating 1/3 of the worlds power. Not good enough but hardly failed. The original post however is a fail.
GE’s Power Management staff couldn’t manage a pile of dog waste out of a brown paper bag. So Sad. Then they try to blame the workers on the floor.
