they will set termination date far behind June. this sick-leave move doesn't work well
@bbs is correct... if you had a scheduled day off, they will wait. if not, they will find you...

@ltj They never do this on Friday.
HR also tracks badge accesses/sets up alerts so they can come get you when you enter your office.
Did you formally take a sick day, email or call your manager ? If so, they will wait for your return.
If you just didnt show up, they will have tried to contact you.
You will know once you return. I think they may be doing 'absent' folks on Friday.
