Also, how many contractors (not L&T peeps). I just wonder what is left - there were about 7,000 when NDS was bought (with 5,500 coming from NDS)

Pretty easy to look at directory, search for SPVSS and see just shy of 2700 total. 1550 are blue badge.
I think 2600 was a lame tech joke relating to the Hz frequency for phone ‘phreaking’. Or an Atari fan ;)
From discussion (gossip?) with others we feel 1000 is a good estimate !
That’s a huge variation between 1000 and 2600. Does anyone know definitively?

Indeed a lot left, in fact anyone who could leave and was not chained to Cisco left.
Less than 1000 remaining. The majority got laid off between 2015-2016 and the L&T transfer happened in 2017. Also, a lot of people left on their own.
L&T took about 800 including Indian engineers and the rest were support and delivery teams in IL
