I am the one. Although I works no more than 1 hour everyday and try to performs as bad as I can. But still my volunteering request not get approved..
Feel really sad for those hardworking guys but get layoff this time. Hope I can get layoff next round.
Given an option to relocate to another office or get laid off.. I chose the package.. Best decision ever. Manager played the "you are not laid off, you choose it yourself" card, though to force me to work until last working day.. Can't wait to send my farewell email without including him!

Didn't even know there was an option to volunteer! Wasn't communicated to my team. I rather thought they had forgotten about the layoffs until the news reports and the email from SM.
no way, but I can tell you that my title is at the bottom which is engineer. Maybe that is the reason that they think layoff me won't reduce any cost..
