Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I would welcome a layoff now

After this last week at Humana, amidst all of the changes, and what is expected and going to be expected from us, I would welcome a lay-off. The pressure is growing, as predicted. I was almost in tears at our last virtual meeting. Only a handful of people spoke up and yes, I was one of them. We are letting our coach know how bad it is in the trenches and how some of these changes do not make sense. Last COM meeting painted a cheerful picture bit it was either a bunch of lies, or the COM had rose-colored glasses on. I am a HCM RN and I know other roles are experiencing this same pressure. God help us all!

Thank you for speaking up! I am in the same boat as you, if there are more layoffs coming I'll gladly volunteer even without a backup job. I'm not sure how much longer I can last.

Good luck to Every one who remains. I was in the last RIF, I managed my roster and logged out on time every day, had great MPS scores, etc and was still choosen. I was angry at first, but I found a job with another insurance company and not only am I making a significantly higher pay but I am so much happier. I'm not micromanaged now and my boss is reasonable. The management structure I am under is not top heavy with overpaid talking heads either. It's refreshing to work somewhere where I'm appreciated for hard work. I hope everyone still at humana funds peace! Good luck!

We did ask that question in one of the earlier Town Hall meetings in 2017 and they said, "no."

HAH has turned into a living hell.Health is more valued by me versus having damage to my health caused by stress from a job. Time to move on.

I was laid off with the group that ended on the 9th of this month. In the beginning I was disappointed with their decision to close live healthy. I immediately landed a new job with another company in my area. I didn’t realize how bad the stress with Humana was affecting me. Since that time I feel better and I’m actually Happy. Good luck to those who are still there and want out.

Ian feeling the same way. Such rediculous pressure every minute. It’s too much. It’s really making me physically ill. My entire team is burned out and not sure how much longer I can keep it up.
