The title pretty much explains it all. I was doing a cart run in the Whole Foods parking lot i worked at and the lady who was my manager clocked off of work and ratted me out to my main manager. How stupid. Whole Foods needs a better business model and hopefully future employees dont get micromanaged like I did :(

you should ask for a hearing so they can hear ur case. If its ur first time n u are a tm chances r ull come back. If u r not a tm then u prob just s--- overall n they used that to get rid of u. Either way, wfm does not fire u on ur first infraction if u r voted TM. Its a process. But pretty sure just were not doing wat u got hired for. N pushing carts n texting is not one them. Safety is another concern. Not sure if a company wants to keep somebody who is a liability in a parking lot texting while pushing carts. Not a smart cookie from wat you sharing. There must b more to ur story. Were u a tm or a ntm?

I never did anything while I was a Whole Foods employee and yes, I was fired for being on my phone during a cart run. My manager clocked off at work, was going to her car, saw me on my phone, and ratted me out to her manager. It's a shame that you are backing this company who doesnt care about you and sees you as an expendable resource.

Can't believe your tl would separate someone who is able to pull carts AND text at the same time. I imagine you get caught up helping customers on your way back from break and that causes you to be late, you take multiple restroom breaks in between scheduled breaks, and disappear for substantial periods of time.
Nobody gets separated for 'just looking at my phone '.
