If humana is buying into kindred and the hospice agency with the two equit partners, it makes humana less likely for a takeover....home health and hospice are home based, Humana bought the home health companies last year and are providing service in home in parts of Florida and Texas. Look for jobs to be posted in the next month or so related to Medicare division and in home...I swear, you can see the direction of the company 6 months before it happens by looking at job openings...the #hcsrenewal postings were all about management and operation of home health and 6 months later, the kindred deal. While none of us can figure out our role or how we fit in, the job openings are more transparent than what we’re told

I agree completely. Humana is moving towards in home care.
For over year in all the town hall meetings they have discussed how important in home visits are for members. This is no surprise. They have made it evident that they are moving away from telephonic care. How far away I agree we don’t know
