or unprofitable stores - IT'S THE REAL ESTATE THAT HAS THE VALUE - Your job is OVER !!!!! Kmart is dead before the end of year. Sears most likely will be gone by this time next year. Go to work for Seritage as they will wind up with the most former properties

Profitable store mean nothing, Top 50 store is 1/6th of the entire chain.
Bruce should have known better. I wonder why he didn't?
Too many negative people who are counting Kmart and Sears our before time. Kmart is awesome and their prices are unbelievably low!
Dont go to Seritage, have you seen their financials? They are caught with too many Sears stores closing and not enough free cash or time to develop them. Even Bruce said that the cash burn that SHC has been going through was not expected. The original plan was to close stores slowly and allow Seritage to collect rent or close the store and remodel. But with the cash burn they had to close more stores to keep expenses down and Seritage cant keep up.
