I got a 29 cent raise. Wow. Not sure where I'm going to spend it all.

@SRXLGgh-2kev, just curious what is meant by merit exercise? You mentioned about receiving a raise outside of the Merit exercise. I thought a merit increase and a raise were the same thing.
@SRXLGgh-6uvg - just remember, when someone figures that out it won't be the manager who is left hanging
My manager told me to add 10 hrs of overtime to my time every week to make up for the raise well screwing I got again from WFT. First job interview on Friday.
You could always find another job
The raises were not even mentioned. And only 2.5 for a merit raise, they think highly of all.
Let’s face facts here, as a manager at Weatherford it was more important that I limit raises to an absolute minimum. This allowed me to hit my financial targets to reduce OPEX spend. This combined with cutting 18% of my workforce accomplished it. I mean, I had to do what I can so I could get my bonus. I’m being judged here as well.
There was a 2.5% Budget for the Merit Increases. If you received less than that here are a few reasons that might explain why.

Poor Performance Review
-
Compa Ratio too high (You’re over paid for your position)

You recently received a raise

You will be receiving a raise outside of the merit excercise

Your manager doesn’t really like you but needs you so he gave you 1%.
I suspect number 5 and the remaining portion of your budgeted amount went to someone who doesn’t spend their workday on this site.
I heard some people have to what another year. That person got a 4 on her review but others in her group needed more money so she got naught!
The big boys just leave their crumbs for us.
I feel so special. They do see the hard work.
Makes you feel really special doesn't it. Most people I have talked to received similar amounts. It's pretty easy to figure out, the work over the last 5 years had no bearing on the increase. It was just what this broke a-- company could afford to shell out. Also remember you still have a job , that's always the bonus at wft.
The best option is to quit or s--- it up for another 5 years , maybe you'll get the full dollar next time.
Not at the $ store for certain unless you save up.
