PTO drives

Does anyone else find it ridiculous we have PTO drives for sick TM while we are owned by the richest man on the plant. Low paid TM donate hours while this guy is getting a $23 million dollar renovation on his home.He makes $36000 an hour and could easily help his sick employees but does nothing and under pays them to boot.

No idiot it’s not for me anyway he could easily pay the medical bills of his sick employees. But instead we We have garbage health insurance and disability. It has nothing to do with being a free loader if you get up and go to work for a company 40 hours a week 52 weeks a year they should take care of you.I hope you struggle at some point in your life and die a slow miserable death that you deserve.

That like comparing apples and oranges completely different he is the richest person on the planet. I am low level TM living a modest life nothing extravagant if I was a financially stable as him it only makes sense to take care of the people who keep you In bussiness. A happy healthy TM is a productive one.

From a poor person in Haiti's perspective, OP probably looks rich. OP, why don't you donate 1/2 your pay to the less fortunate you lucky rich bastard?

The entire point of the original post was to point out the fact that our owner has so much money that he has no use for. He could easily help the people that helped him build his empire but he chooses not to. I’m all for people helping themselves but everyone could use a hand regardless.

Rule of thumb concerning benefits: you should take advantage when a company offers such items. You never know what can happen to you or a family member. It is very true that insurance is expensive as is paying for short/long term disability... but, the reality is YOU should consider the unseen future.

WFM offers both short term and long term disability. I have it deducted out of my check in case I am ever sick or injured. Although it is now socially acceptable to beg friends for donations (gofundme), I choose to take care of myself.
