Freaking incredibly mean spirited & bitter posters on this. Have a bit of compassion for a fellow coworker who has obviously gotten him/her self in too deep. But for the grace of God... you are not helping anyone with the nasty crap. Rooting for you OP!!!

Majority of stores in North Texas are closing on Sunday, and switching to 10AM to 7PM Monday through Friday, while on Saturday going to 10AM to 7PM too. There are a couple select locations that will, on Sunday, be open 11 AM to 6 PM due to traffic monitoring while one or two locations are keeping their same schedule during the week regardless of the changes. In effect, we're starting to see the cutbacks of retail market across Texas and rumor mill is specific stores are safe based on proximity to other locations "within reason" but if you're too close to specific retail stores, odds are the next wave will be reduction of store fronts and consolidation...

First of all, you must have incredible income to be able to have 100k in credit card debt alone. I think you’ll be fine, Lowell.

No they would never close stores despite reduced traffic, heavy competition, and no new contracts. They leave stores open to lose money and pay bills for people lime you that live beyond their means.

U need to control ur expenses. If stores were open 24/7 and you worked every hour, you’d still be f—-ed.

Original poster, you need to declare bankruptcy if you have $100k in credit card debt. Credit cards are unsecured debt so you don't have to give back anything you purchased on them. Your credit is bad for 7 years but that's better than all ther interest you are going to pay.

I once had $10k in CC debt so i could imagine your minimum payment. 10k is doable, but 100k.... no.

I overheard a manager saying they heard of a smaller store in our district closing on Sunday. They are opened 12-5 as is on Sunday vs 11-6 like the other stores. Who knows?
