Customers don't rely anymore on oracle services.
Customers don't ask for oracle consultancy. Most of the oracle partners have hired the oracle experts that were laid off.
oracle consultancy is too expensive and customers don't want foreign people (romanian and indian) to steal local jobs.
global customer support is so bad that asking help from gcs is now becoming a joke for our customers.
gcs doesn't know oracle products. they don't try to reproduce cst issues. They just do MOS researches but have no clues of what product issues are.
We oracle experts know better mos.
We oracle experts know and make our new partners companies earn the money oracle is loosing.
Also, I was not laid off. I left oracle when I was told I would be laid off by an idiot from hr who explained it would be transparent for our csts.
I was principal engineer, speaking English, German and French Language.
It took me less than 2 weeks for me to find a new job.
I still work with ex oracle colleagues and oracle products.
Most of our csts are still using on premise products and don't have plans to move to cloud.
And they even don't plan to move to oracle cloud because oracle sales are so agressive , they s--- and make csts angry. Csts get oracle sales calls after calls with no consistency.
