Is it true we are safe from layoffs until the year since the acquisition was finalized is up?
Been talking to my manager the other day and he said that there has been no indication anything will happen before than. After that it's nearly certain that major layoffs will happen, but not before.
The people that got us to this point should be the ones to go. Not a get out of jail free card like WR got with his golden parachute.
That will be August. We're all fair game after that.
Haha your TL is full of sh-- dude. My TL lied and said no one in the store was getting laid off after they had the meeting about the GAs. Sure enough, two days later our store GA lost any amount of perkiness she once had and now puts depressing quotes on the door to her office.
Sign making is getting laid off in July as well as marketing. So clearly not safe from layoffs it’s just a matter of who will be laid off not if.
