Address verification emails already sent

I left a couple of years ago and I think I did get an address verification email from time to time. But I think, no more than once a year. Interesting that it is done every quarter now..... it may be the system switch, but it also could be that layoffs were going to be done and they do it every quarter now, because they don't know who will be laid off?
Location verifications come every quarter and have been for over 2 years. Doesn't mean anything. It comes from our Cloud HCM system. They started when we switched from EBS.

I have been receiving the email every quarter since last year. These are not for tax purpose. The org that gets it seems to be always on the waiting for coming layoffs.
Worked at Oracle for quite some years and only got this address verification email once before getting the “package”. Receiving the email doesn’t mean you will get the ax, but most probably, some people will get it.
I have never had to do an address verification while working at Oracle.
"shortly before tax documents are produced to ensure they are correct" - it's May. Tax documents are produced and sent out by the end of January in the US.
