Sure. Agreed. But Q already had Bluetooth and IOT.

I have no idea, had nothing to do with it. But I always wondered why and what did it do for Q. Very little that I could see. Aside from the 'synergies' and 'leveraging assets' BS and shutting down offices.
Beware NXP. Q will find 'synergies' and then shutdown entire offices and product lines.
CSR brought Bluetooth & IOT. I worked there. The acquisition was a clusterf--k, the integration was a clusterf--k, and now most of the employees are gone. Good luck with that hot mess.
