Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

We are becoming just like any other grocery store

Anybody finds it really sad that Whole Foods is becoming just like any other grocery store?

I used to be proud to work here, it actually meant something. Maybe not to other people, but it did to me.

Now everything is changing, and not for the better. It just makes me really sad.

Life is so much better away from Whole Foods . You don’t realize how mean spirited and abusive leadership and team members are until you get away. Seriously ! After you have been “separated “ from the company, you will be pissed and then later grateful

You work at a snobby grocery store and are looked down upon by the customers. There’s nothing to take pride in you are just a number to them a body to throw stock and be a verbal punching bag for the miserable customers. Go in do your drone work you are not changing anything by working at WFM. Go in do what you can and forget about it because its not going to get any better.

You must be fairly young. By your comment I can tell you take pride in nothing. They’re just clothes no need to wash them. Just throw them on and go to your job. Hair probably dirty, car the same and dented. No pride in the work you do or the life you live. For those of us that loved Whole Foods Market and took pride in the job we did it is incredibly sad what has happened to it. I don’t expect that you would understand my comment or even care.
