Rex Tillerson was someone who I thought would be an excellent Secretary of State. He stated off as such, but when he didn’t follow the direction of his boss to the letter, he failed to grasp that he serves at the pleasure of the President. Call your boss a “mo--n” and that’s a career-ending move. He tried to back-peddle and deny the claim, but in the end it was true. Rex Tillerson lost his credibility and my respect for doing this. Seems to me that President Trump has more balls and conviction than Rex did at Secretary of State. Your last job has a way defining your legacy. Getting fired for cause is an embarrassment. It won’t be forgotten. Now he knows how it feels when you get booted.

I am a big fan of Exxon and Rex Tillerson. However, The fact that Exxon practiced forced ranking is not something I appreciate. I never was an SNL fan. Though, I did get a laugh from the parody/skit. I would encourage everyone to watch the SNL skit.
John Goodman returned to “Saturday Night Live” as booted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and got to shout that President Donald Trump “is a moron” on national TV.
“It’s just crazy how one day you’re the CEO of Exxon, a $50 billion company, and the next day you get fired by a man who used to sell steaks in the mail,” Goodman’s Tillerson tells “Anderson Cooper” (Alex Moffat) before crushing the drinking glass in his hand.
Got to experience forced ranking for first time. Boo hoo, crying to cash $300M.
Give the guy a break. No accomplishments from his last job to put on his resume and no chance of getting a letter of recommendation from his boss. Gotta be tough on him.
