Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Armchair critics of Dell

I am just disgusted reading all the nonsensical diatribes on our leader Michael S Dell. There are people here criticise Dell for buying EMC. Look this was a man who at the age of 23 took on IBM and won. This is the man who owns the biggest private company in the world. And who the hell are you to criticize him. You silly people sitting on your obese fat bums nothing else to do other than spouting nonsense.

I for one get inspired by Dell. I have his photographs at home and office. I have spent 15 years in Dell and plan to spend 15 more. Dell has takem good care of my livelihood and children's education. The useless people who write here should learn to take inspiration from the lives of achievers and extraordinary leaders like Michael. I salute you mike and I will stand by you to clear the debts and make the company soar high. Think big grow big.

I can't help but feel triggered when spreadsheet director is considered bad. Because I happened to meet directors and VPs who cannot do spreadsheet and have a contract uni grad doing the spreadsheet and reading for them.

This guy is either of hyper-servile mentality or a victim of stockholm syndrome. Any company or business is all about money, employees are secondary. One needs to take care of his own interests, finances and career. Remind me of “Love your job but don't love your company, because you may not know when your company stops loving you” – a quote by an Indian scientist and former President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

Dell is a successful businessman or a conman, depending on how you look at it. From the moral standpoint, Dell squeezes the last drop of juice from his employees, carrying billion of debts and bought one of the most expensive place at NY. In term of technology and innovation. I don't see any. Dell is purely just for extreme profits and gains. Making the most out of other expense. Now, Dell trying to cheat VMWare. Once VMW dried up, it will be disposable just like any other companies he has done to in the past.

MD is the one who fraud public investors for 15 b$ and made the company as privite, now he desperately want it back it to public again (listed back again nyse for 12b$ as dell tech,, jokes of the year) and the company is sinking from all the direction, ie, incompetent employees with no use products, he has no idea what to do with all the computing, storage stuffs,

he is looking at the vmware for the last hope and that is the only hope left for him before the gigantic collapse, but in a year or two it will fall on its own debt.

It’s business as usual for MD. Take the company private to retool and resurface with an IPO. His grand plan.

Worst place to work period! Managers and directors line up for the kool aid and pat each other on the back. Reviews are based on predefined scales to ensure the budgets and not on performance.

Laid off 5 months ago and glad for it.

Yes it was a good paying job but no satisfaction in the day to day.

One of the most ridiculous posts I've read. MD cares about one thing, and that is his bank account. He has manipulated the company for many years, always looking out for his own wealth (and public image), while ignoring the fact that Dell is not a hi-tech company. The only claim to fame that Dell ever had was their supply chain management which has largely disappeared, and they are left with trying to shuffle money from one area to another to cover their massive debt, with no innovation capabilities. Meanwhile MD has insured that when the company collapses, he will have lots of money to live on while thousands of people lose their jobs

Armchair critics you have only two options now. Loose weight to get tighter buns and criticize MSD or else just shutup hog like pigs and get fatter.

sycophant.

that aside. MSD is blind af to give his trust and reigns to stupids that run the company like it's a family business.

I think this was all satire, while I left (was PiP'ed) a couple of weeks ago, the people who are there in the office are not very inspired.

Why don't you speak to some of the people who have been fired from Michaels great private company and ask them what they think of MSD
