I assume if we reduce the contractors to 1000 from what ever we have, we may not need lay offs, correct ? why not go that route ?
If contractors deliver, provide value and vision and impact dividend, why not just keep them and let go of the rest? Perhaps this will be a good strategy for the situation!
Anyways the current folks are wasting time trolling this board...
I think most contractors will be released when requisitions expire from what I hear. This is to save the money.
We need more contractors to drive value...........only contractors really drive value and vision. The three Vs. Value. Vision and diVidends.
And Mr SM let this grow. Any clue as to how large this growth was after PJ, to get an idea of the BS he was doing ?
Too large
What is the total # of contractors (%) we are taking about ?
There are probably 500 contractors, it won't cut it .
- Qualcomm traded between 55 [ [2012] ~80 [ in 5/2014] and ~60 today. Needle didnt move much.
Octanes shared his goals ? Shouldn't those be the yard stick to measure the performance of this board, ceo and executives ?
Will it really make a dent if the referenced engg. are let go ?
Thoughts ?
Issa is not standing for re-election. But there are several candidates standing to replace him. Let them know the importance of jobs and fixing the broken H1B system. Jobs and livelihoods depend on it. Citizens before H1Bs.
The whole 'layoff citizens' while retaining H1Bs is not right.
Issa and Hunter needs to know the situation crisp and clear to meet the vision !
2 local, currently republican districts up for election soon.............Issa and Hunter. DJT is gonna expect some payback for saving Q. DJT clearly wants to show how he delivers American jobs. Whaddya gonna do, big blue Q ?
This is not aligned with Pr. Trumps vision. He saved QC and now Qualcomm needs to step up totally and quickly.
Plenty of contractors.
Plenty of H1Bs.
Heck. Theres even a good supply of H1B contractors !
