Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Awful news for TRU employees, but good for BB&B

The news that Toys R Us will be closing all of its stores nationwide is horrible, with so many people losing their jobs.

But as far as Bed Bath & Beyond is concerned this is good news. This can literally mean fewer or even no layoffs in the following months.

So hopefully something good will come out of that awful situation.

They need to start cutting the corporate payroll. So many shenanigans going on here. The people who have a good work ethic are leaving. The rest of these lazy people are a real waste of payroll. A vp of something here has a boyfriend who is an hourly associate in one of the stores. They deserve to fail if they continue to doing business the way they are.

I used to have a store within a store. And bBB is a joke. Such a loss of profit. No margin. The stores are payroll wasters. That was a bad purchase. And they can’t compete with online. 16 weeks for a glider ? You’re only pregnant for 40 ? Lol

That's assuming the demise of Babies R Us helps BBB with less competion for buybuy BABY, thereby saving BBB. Don't assume anything, the inherent problems with BBB go far beyond, pun intend, than strollers.
