Anyone know that Kroger charges vendors a "bin fee"? Kind of a rental fee for putting product in their warehouse. So the $60M distribution plant they just completed we helped pay for! Any vendor that wants in Kroger pays to warehouse their stuff. Think they need anymore reasons to leave DSD? One more way to make money!

That makes no sense! High fuel costs? Walmart and Kroger will not add fuel costs as product will come in on the trucks that are already scheduled for their regular delivery. Why does Nabisco have warehouse sku's already made? Of course walmart and Kroger want control. They can't make money with DSD! As for our shareholders, if we continue to not deliver the numbers they want they will start selling off. Unfortunately in this day and age DSD is a dinosaur. You'll soon find out
what people do not realize is Kroger and WM do not want large companies like Nabisco, Frito/Pepsi, Coke, and beer companies to go through their warehouse as they cannot take on the high fuel costs to deliver through the warehouse. They want control of the turn order via CAO, however they want the product delivered DSD to relieve their fuel and labor cost of shelving the product. what is the advantage of having the DSD companies ship their product through the Kroger warehouse? Kroger built their new DC as their Simple Truth brand has exceeded 1 billion in sales and they need to space to expand their label, not slot fees for DSD. People come on here and blab like they know everything and DSD is dead. Here is another fact, if your company is 100% based on a few brands then why would you allow the customer to control your destiny. Best way to lose shareholders is one year hit wonder and then boom no growth. Just look at Keebler now, their sales are falling through the floor and there is no more savings to gain

They are only sharing what they have to! When all our sku number showed up in WM guns and rumors started, they had to. With all these Kroger stores in our zone our DM had to tell us about Kroger. They won't tell us the inevitable until they have to, which is about a month away!
Love how they tell us about Walmart at our Sales Rally Meetings coming in April and not heard a thing since. They want all focus on this CRAZY M3 number before they start giving out bad news.
I believe that's how the elves did it. Product came in on their trucks till they exited DSD. Be prepared for some news after the Easter Bunny delivers his baskets. They'll blame us since we'll miss our numbers. Epic fail!

We wont be going cao until June or July at Kroger. Walmart suppose to be next month but have not heard anything since our ralley meeting. Will walmart ship on our trucks?
Kroger won't be coming on their trucks! The next three months we are assuring them with tweeking CAO and on hands, come July most likely they will transition. Why would we have a catalogue number assigned to us if we were not going to go warehouse? Plenty of room in their new $60m warehouse! Management is lying to string people along to keep the wheels from falling off before transition. We are committed to DSD is exactly correct, under contract that as long as we are DSD we must provide full service but when Kroger ends DSD, likely in when all stores will be up and running with CAO, commitment ends! We have ensured Kroger a smooth transition.
If Kroger is going to be coming in on their trucks I can say 100% that Walmart will be coming in on their trucks also. I heard McClain is supposed to deliver Nabisco products
I think they will be adjusting routes and adding more stores. Will probably layoff some reps. We are still hiring new merchandisers..........If walmart is true what they said we will still service them next month. I heard from a reliable source that kroger is coming soon and we will only up sell there as the product will come in on their trucks. Wonder if walmart will also come on their trucks.
They must be waiting till April now to tell us. Once they see how badly we miss our numbers they'll have an excuse to blame us😜. Game is about over! We're Virginia down by 20 to a 16 seed 😂
We were suppose to have a conference call this month about Walmart. I guess they are pushing that to next month so we all focus on this crazy number.

Reason why Mondelez keeps saying,"we are committed to DSD". Who cares, not Kroger! They want control back! No more Mondelez dumping product to make numbers! Piling a sharebuilder to the ceiling the day before it comes down, etc.. At the end of they day, Kroger has already decided! Catalog number already assigned to our product, they are just waiting for their first rent check!
