MT is trashing a company made strong by its employees, Rust recognized the value of dedicated, highly skilled and motivated employees.
New leadership sees experienced long term employees as a expense and nothing more. They are paying the price now with record high indemnity, out of control loss adjustment expense and claims mistakes costing them hundreds of millions. Never have I seen the policy loss we have experienced under the new leadership.
If we were a stock company MT would be long gone. State Farm has $96 billion, but they are making cuts like they have one foot in the insolvency door. If you are over 50 you are most likely going to get kicked to the curb. Very sad to see all the hard working dedicated career oriented people losing their jobs at the worst time possible. Leadership keeps talking about growing, seriously?
They won't have the claim staff to even service the customers should they ever attract any. Amazing how clueless the senior leaders are to the realities of what is really going on in claims. Have to wonder how long they will tolerate MT's lack of leadership skills.
