Happy to be in San Diego. Finished my PhD last year and was waiting for a while. Will join Corporate R&D!!!!! Any hints about that team?

OP is lying. CRD is a one way street, people only leave.
On the off chance that OP is for real, keep your ears close to the ground at all times. Highly political division with a lot of favoritism. Write frequent emails, respond to the ones broadcasted to you and check in code more often and you'll be rewarded. If you choose to be a rebel, you're in the wrong building, mate!
Also, it may crumble at any time, so stay on the lookout for better opportunities at all times. No matter what plan to move eventually since the way CRD executes will set your capabilities back by a long way.
It's utopia in CRD; you'll really like it. They do all sorts of R&D on relevant technologies that are converted into real money-making products by QCT. Your chest will explode with pride as people across the planet use features and technology you created. Women will flock to you, you'll be engineer of the year, and Warren Buffet himself will be calling you for tips. Enjoy your fortune!
Welcome to hell, kid. Keep your resume ready and your skills sharp
LOL
My 2 cents:
Troll.
Sarcasm.
Lame.
CRNd will be completely obsoleted no matter how much you try. So is CE which is even more useless.
OP
Nice try.
Your grades must have been good as PhD but you get an F in common sense.
Nice try!!
