Physical Safety at the Farm

Anyone else not want to be anywhere on site when these meetings and announcements are going on. I am seriously concerned about my safety at work.

What could be a safer environment that rent a cops and revolving doors? Plus all the doors have no weapons signs posted so that makes me feel secure.

@SeaFlur-ezs - The OP was not making a threat. The OP stated that he/she is concerned for his/her own safety while at work. Obviously, the current management feels the same way, thus the beefed up security presence.

At CS (at least) they have armed guards patrolling side by side with the standard "wakenhut" guards. There are also plain clothed off duty police officers patrolling. Not sure if that should make us feel better or worse.

I would be worried the senior executive have security mirroring them all day. I just rolled everything out of my 401k someone isn’t keeping a eye on this, Morningstar has a two star rating on our aasociate growth fund. I would get out quick before collapse. What happen to State Farm.

If you read the rules of the site, layoffs.com is explicit that they disclose IP address of the user if any threat is noticed in post. Just saying be careful what you write in this thread as it deals with safety and security and they are open about disclosing threats to authorities.

This has been a huge concern of mine. When people lose their jobs, you never know how someone will react.
