Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Lenghty Mental Trama for employees is NOT Good Management!

Great companies DO NOT treat their employees in such an uncaring manner! State Farm has essentially shown all employees that they have no regard for them or their families Great businesses would involve upper staff in a study of what will right the ship. Results of the study would be provided to the Board of Directors for consideration. If the board agrees with the recommendations, the Board would order implementation immediately and NOT allow the process to be drug out for months on end, thus traumatizing families needlessly with unending worry! This treatment of employees is WORSE THAN DISGRACEFUL! This has not been and is not even humane treatment. It appears that State Farm is being left in the dust by most other insurance companies because State Farm has not been aggressive in its marketing methods. They need to study what their competitors have been doing to recruit new business and to service customers.

Obviously you've never worked anywhere else, if you think other large companies/corporations treat their employees well.

So leave. You don't have to be treated inhumanely. Everyone has choices. Exercise them!

That statement is classic management mentality.

No, its classic personal responsibility.

So leave - if the end is coming and a lower paying job is our future - isn’t your health and family worth it? I’m tried of the whining. Take it or shut up. Some of us are trying to work for the paycheck we are still receiving.

OMG really?

Do We?

This handling is acceptable? All companies are like this?

State Farm was made great by their employee's, management and board.

Somewhere things have gone tremendously wrong. So your explanation is to get rid of all your senior employee's and management that you just do not like.

Keep the board and CEO though, because they just came onboard yesterday.

Oh how I wish I could exercise my right!

If only it was that easy. If there were jobs a plenty, and at the same pay, or if the pay was close, don't you think people would have already left?

Stupid statement. If 90% of the employees are unhappy at any job, and just exercised their right to leave then 90% would be gone. ALL companies know this. Our economy and job market is what makes this possible. For those folks that have been at their job for awhile, the money they make cannot be made currently in this town, and many other towns. Employee's that have families, just can't leave! Older employee's are being taken advantage of because most have families, and real life going on outside just the job. If State Farm paid everyone minimum wage, the buildings would now be empty.

You see. if you can't take it no more and exercise your right, you may have to accept that minimum wage job. You will be worth far more than that, however in this town your options are limited.

So leave. You don't have to be treated inhumanely. Everyone has choices. Exercise them!

That statement is classic management mentality.

Is Tipsord trying to ruin State Farm...on purpose?

Failed leadership...Failed policies...Failed structuring....the evidence is growing. If they don't change leadership soon it's over....
