So these a--holes running HR are recruiting from ToysRUs and Winn Dixie after they just laid off 1000s of good managers not even giving them a chance to demote to hourly. Now they're scavaging from companies that failed because of poor leadership. #karmaabirtch walmart talent leadership s---s!!!!!!!

Current Wal-Mart leadership failed the associates and failed the company. Make no mistake, people will flee poor leadership and the ones that remain will be completely demotivated. They can talk all they want about caring for the associate but the shareholder' s and the bottom line always come first, will always be first, and will be first even when the .com business fails. The blame will be pinned on "individuals" making bad decisions rather than the collective poor judgment of all the cheerleaders who are afraid to speak up. The heyday of the big box store is coming to a close - Amazon has won the online battle and walmart drove away the core customer (their associates).

Toys R Us & Dixie didn't do anything new to remain relevant in the transforming retail world..... doesn't mean HR did anything wrong, the operations failed, not people! I'd gladly have an effective 1+2 year experience manager from a competitor than a complacent, self centered underperforming Co manager that thinks they are owed something for " years of service" versus self reflection knowing that there's a difference between working hard and doing the HARD- WORK!
Hypocrisy at it's best..... trashing managers from another company going through what you just experienced!
Y'all need to use your COBRA benefits before they run out with a professional and spend time on a couch treating your issues instead of seeking therapy on this forum!

This is a corporate direction..... came down via a conference call about 3 weeks ago. That said I will not/have not been recruiting from Toys R Us. Took all my hand shake cards and chucked them in the trash. Got a attaboy (from market) for getting them all used! Walmart is such a joke right now.
Lost my job as a Co after 22 years of hard work and cheering the company every day to be replaced by a manager from Toys R Us with 1/6th experience. No wonder walmart stores are so jacked up. Previous posting hit the nail on the head walmarts poor HR leadership is going to ruin the company.
