I sure wish there was some level of professionalism, instead of chicken sh-- ignore and avoid the clerk. Seriously! Not once did any of the managers, or CM inquired as to how it was going as I dragged file cabinets out of the office. Nor did she/he say “ I wish I had some information for you but I don’t”. Something that acknowledge the oblivion starting next week. How about I’ll share what I’d like to do, if nothing comes down from the top. Just friggin something!
something should change on this week ten yes. Wonder what the new direction will be for us?
AUDIT,AUDIT, AUDIT....That's what receiving clerks need to do. Team Leads can not complete audits, and can surely use your help. (please, only those who can actually count) To those who can't count help bakery.
There isn't or never has been a daylight receiving run the same way from club to club including the clerk job. Managers have allotted hours to their daylight receiving even though all the auto schedules were based on sales. The clerks did what ever mgrs wanted them to or dock needed, helped the former audit team and claims. So now I'm told by CM that he is collaborating with other mgrs in market so they can come up with a consistent job for the clerks unneeded hours in receiving. Why be consistent now is ridiculous. And why do they need to come up with a plan? Shoudn't the new receiving already have that? Of course next week will be all about fresh for Easter so another week of using us...
Maybe read the wire.
not sure what you mean by putting reports together in cash office clearly u have no clue. They clearly didn't think about that it's a stupid machine the damn things jams all the time I find it hillarous the mgrs. hate it it will be revamped once they get all the high paying associates out that is where this company is going no care about shrink loss of money they went in and just turned mgrs. associates lives around awful have went totally out of what they started In business for small business they will be filing bankrupt very soon.
Putting papers together then going to floor isn't a full time job code. That's what they told the cash office. IMO its all a start of massive streamline of business and more shut downs in future.
Hopefully marking 60 days out until severance. They are holding clerks captive until they can find someone to do the day to day tasks and solve problems that arise. Only met a few managers in 16 years that know some aspects of clerk's job. Just one more tenured position to knock out afterwards; PTC. Sad but true.
You will put the paperwork together with a receiving recap not checking any of it and stick it in a storage box. Pay whatever bills order supplies. Then go to the floor for the rest of your shift.
not sure but receiving clerk was a jerk to me today at my club. Usually not the case. Jerk
