At least people are learning the truth. People have worked themselves sick for this company while Lowell lives like a king unworthy of his compensation. He is responsible for the RIFs, not the people that make the company work for its customers.

That's just what he makes. That doesn't include all the other perks and benefits that he gets. Yes there is a ton of responsibility but he is so disconnected from the front line he isn't there for us, he's there to make appearances and do interviews. He's more of an embassador than a leader. But do we really have any leaders at Verizon. It's just micromanager after micromanager

Verizon paid CEO Lowell McAdam $17.4 million in 2016. Besides his regular compensation, Verizon granted him $100,855 in “above market earnings” on his nonqualified plan assets, which totaled just under $12 million at year-end. These above-market earnings came on top of $424,000 in company matching contributions to his Deferral Plan account and $21,200 to his Management Savings Plan account.
