This morning we were estranged by seeing two top dogs for HR show up way early. While entering the building and walking they openly discussed "filing paperwork for two terms" now while this might seem normal protocol, there happens to be a meeting as well in our store. Lots of district people. Could it be the beginning of phase two?

Yes I agree, dept mgrs were the workers and treated like mules, loyal they were! Corporate and Dm Sm Asm never recognized their efforts and now they are gone the stores look like crap because the asm team is tooooo lazy to get it done. The asm team is about to be on the street like we were. I’ve survived quite well after 8-3-17. There are good jobs out there, take your time. Stocks are at a low and no one cares anymore!!
Quite honestly everyone has always agreed that the work horses at BBB were always the Department Managers. Unfortunately corporate never got that memo. The ASM’s have always been treated like Gods at BBB. I was a Department manager until 8/3/17. I know a few key holders that work their butts off but most of the others are only good at finger pointing. I worked their and was loyal for 15 years. Corporate has blinders on. I wish everyone luck. There is life after BBB. Keep the faith.

The calm before the storm!
We just had a district meeting and our DM kept making a point to talk about how ASMs aren’t performing at a high enough caliber and to make sure that everything is documented. As a SM who treats his employees fairly, I can honestly say I’ve had enough at this point. Why all of a sudden has the company realized that the performance of ASMs as a whole is not meeting expectations?! I call BS and my resume is going out. It’s obvious what’s about to happen and if they do it, I know that they’ll eventually come down on SMs also.
