Auto Claims - injury

What are current Pendings and work conditions like? What is OT allowed? Are you working other people’s files to detriment of you own? Have you received any “1”s in recent review or performance emails or memos? Are you an older employee and being told everyone else is able to cope with the workload and you need to speed up? How many older employees have left in the last few months? Retired? Quit? Terminated?

EEOC claim mailed in re age discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, etc. I decided to speak up about unethical and probably illegal treatment I experienced.

Encouraging all experiencing discrimination to file EEOC claim.

You can set up in their system and get an appointment that is months away to then file your claim and or mail in your claim request per their website. EEOC is federal government and in many states your filed claim with EEOC also handle state investigation.

They will review and determine if they will investigate and if they do they will interview employees and request documents and seek remedial corrections, etc.

"Of a certain age" was micromanaged, written up for bogus things (my manager could not provide specific examples when I asked) and went from being a 3/3 employee to getting a 2.1.

I got tired of not being able to sleep at night an hating my life.

I quit and moved on.

I hope there is a class action against SF. I'll sign up.

Management told to tighten the screws on older employees. Stating older employees disliking the new auto model and working at too slow a pace. Micromanaging recorded statements and words used in the Remarkable conversations - bringing great experienced employees to their knees hoping they will quit or retire early. Pick, pick, pick on them until they go is what was said by TM. It's terrible! Don't know the number of employees effected. Good luck to everyone!

Been with SF for years. Strong work ethic. Can work circles around the younger associates - younger associates look at this as a call center job & don't care about quality. They will tell you that they came to SF for the training and if they stay 6 months then many, many other insurance companies want them because SF gives world class training. The hiring company has very little to do to "train" them for their job. Plus with some experience under them they can get hired in at a higher wage than we pay.
