Is it going to be announced in the first part of May?
Perhaps CMs are being laid off, but hcmss are too few to layoff...with the new program being rolled out, to do in home in the selected areas, I would think CMs in those areas may be hit
Makes no sense, they’re hiring more hcmss, it’s on careers site and indeed.com
Coaches just did another another point in time assessments at the beginning of April. Next lay off to be announced officially in May
After this last week at Humana, amidst all of the changes, and what is expected and going to be expected from us, I would welcome a lay-off. The pressure is growing, as predicted. I was almost in tears at our last virtual meeting. Only a handful of people spoke up and yes, I was one of them. We are letting our coach know how bad it is in the trenches and how some of these changes do not make sense. Last COM meeting painted a cheerful picture bit it was either a bunch of lies, or the COM had rose-colored glasses on. I am a HCM RN and I know other roles are experiencing this same pressure. God help us all!
as a recently layed off hcmrn i have to tell yall it was the best thing.. seriously couldn't take the stress anymore, besides that i found another job that pays MUCH more with MORE flexibility and a manager that has pride and respect for me as a nurse. Hang in there praying for yall.
Are any coaches on this thread? I am a HCM RN and, as usual, our team has not heard a thing!
Seriously? Another PITA? In what time frame, they just laid off so many based on the PITA with the undisclosed time frame?
Coaches are doing PITA now. All disciplines will be affected.
Below poster, is it CMs? Hcmss? CHEs? How many more? Was another point in time done? How can more layoffs be done with the amount of members and roster size? Is it across the board a certain percentage?
Layoffs to be announced mid May.
Why is all of this hillarious??
You people are hilarious! Keep the laughs coming!
We will see. Last official day for this round of layoffs is April 9th. Nothing will happen until after that date.
Fake news. Not happening. Stop scaring people.
Keep sharing! Some people need to stop drinking the koolaid
My coach said that last time too. And then our COM got laid off. So you never know. This is supposed to be a safe, anonymous site ...... why do you have to start with anything? People are sharing their worst fears and concerns..... and you are now adding to it.
First off, I am a coach and have not been told this. My COM has always been quite frank about layoffs. She is saying no April layoffs. Secondly, any coach who tells one team member information such as alleged layoffs and not the whole team, should be fired immediately. If this is a real coach she has crossed many professional boundaries. I dont know where to start with this.
Yes some areas may have layoffs and others no layoffs. If some could identify the program where the layoffs are going to occur that might clear up conflicting information
I appreciate the information very much and have not gotten misleading information yet from this site. To the poster who took the risk and shared what was told to him or her in confidence ...thank you. Too the poster who anonymously called them a liar with no factual statements to back it up.....shame on you. I am still wondering..... will SNP be impacted? Any info will be appreciated. Thank you again.
Below poster...that’s a bit extreme....every team has someone who has been with the coach the longest, don’t think that’s an outing. And if they chose to share it, that was their choice, no shame, everything posted here has been unofficial
@SkWWLhG-4nsm- ok, so let's go with you're telling the truth. Do you realize that you pretty much just outed her by saying you've been on her team longer than any other associate? Won't be too difficult for leadership to figure out who she is with that kind of very specific detail, and all because you just had to prove you're right?
And twice you've posted this information was provided to you in confidence. Do you know what it means to be told something in confidence? It means you keep it to yourself and tell no one. But again, your need to be right and provide "proof" you know something no one else is privy to was more important.
If you are telling the truth, you should be ashamed of yourself. You didn't provide any real information in the end. The only thing you may have accomplished is possibly getting someone fired when all they tried to do was give YOU a heads up.
Thank you ! I really appreciate the information. I will be planning for another round. The good thing this time is my resume is updated and ready to go.
I'm the one who posted that their coach told them confidentially to expect more cuts. I shared what I was told because that's what this site is for. If you are going to just call everyone a liar when they share information why even be on this site? She told me cuts were coming, I don't know when or how deep. Just that I was told they were planned. I've been with my coach longer than any other associate on her team, and I don't believe she would lie to me. She's been very upfront with me for the last year on what she knew and I've planned accordingly. If she's saying I need to be concerned now, well I'm going to be concerned. You can chose to believe me or keep calling me a liar, it makes little difference. I know others appreciate the information.
Are we really going to call people liars again? How many rounds of layoffs have we had? They are coming around again and this site has always given us a heads up. Get ready !
Whoa. This is a confidential post, so how do you know who the person who posted she was told about the layoff on the non recorded line is? There fore, how do you know see it he is a liar?
Members are waiting more than 10 days....hopefully, without the warm transfers they will be able to catch up
Poster is lying
To the poster who was told today that there is definitely lay offs coming, did yyou hear what departments would be impacted?
We were told no warm transfers to HCM SS because members were waiting 10 days for call backs. This is for the entire week. Poster who was told in confidence, are you HCCP RN?
Does that mean the hcmss, too? They are down to a skeleton crew as it is, and so backed up on tasks due to their layoffs
I was told by my coach today in confidence that more layoffs are planned. She said the number of members is being actively calculated right now and they are looking at the protections for the next 3 months to determine what is needed. Monitored members are growing daily and HCMs role will be little more than survey completion going forward. This is what i was told on an unrecorded line this afternoon. She told me to prepare to start looking because she wasn't sure how deep the cuts will be.
Layoffs have NOT been confirmed! I would know if they were.
Anyone know which departments, or is it all of hah?
April layoffs for HCM RNs are definitely confirmed. Not sure if the exact number.
Has anyone besides original poster heard of more layoffs to come? If not, I wouldn't worry and see what April brings. The last several rounds, there was much more chatter/confirmation.
Here it is
Was confirmed today. More layoffs to come in april. SMH. It'll never end will it?
I cannot see the original post!
The number was somewhere between 100k and 200k. Even at the best case of 200k, that's still hundreds less HCMs needed than what currently remain.
The OP should not be offended by people questioning a very vague statement that contradicts everything else being said. They are expecting to have close to 200,000 managed members NOT 100,000. 100,000 was mistakenly said but is not the true number. If the OP doesn't want people questioning then he/she should include some actual details. Vague postings don't cut it.
