Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

What are our chances with NXP now?

We seem to be determined to see this through, no matter what. I personally believe that this deal could be exactly what we need right now, even if it seems that a lot of people are losing faith that it will go through or be useful in the long run.

I ask you, what's a better way to rebound after a hostile takeover attempt than a takeover of our own?

I would say NXP aq is not very likely. Time is ticking. Tender period expires on April 25. Still pending China approval and shareholders are relucant to tender their NXP shares.

You do know they make a magic 8 ball? Buy one, it will reduce the stress on your life.

Stock is already trading with the assumption that the NXP deal is done for over a year now. With NXP, it should be at around 52 and without NXP $35. This is with the current management and mess in place.

Sweet spot now to get in will be around $44 looking at the trend. Do you own research.

NXP acq. is extremely likely. most likely we will see BC come back and buy qualcomm and then intel will buy qualcomm and BC. Then Trump will become the GREAT GREAT supreme leader of the federal states of america!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if nxp goes thru don't expect this as a magic pill..

It may give Qualcomm a bump a 5 dollar or so in stock price .. nothing more ..

The big problem is with executive management as they didn't believe for last 5 years but could still hang on to their titles.

I think nxp would go through but brace for a big wave of layoffs after that
