Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

How many more weekends like this?

I'm just wondering, how many more weekends of not knowing what's going to happen are we going to have to suffer through?

How many more sleepless nights and stressful Saturdays and Sundays - days we are supposed to be for resting and recuperation - can we endure before many of us break?

This has gone on for far too long, something's gotta give.

I was in the first wave with planning and management. We were waiting almost a full year until we found out if we had a kob or not. Be thankful they are moving faster now. I don't say this to be harsh but they are moving much faster now than they were. Now i have to bide my time in a job i did 30 years ago until i can post out into something i want to do.

(215 ILCS 5/Art. III heading) I. DOMESTIC MUTUAL COMPANIES (Article scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027)

There will be no Mutual Fund companies allowed after 2027 something Ed Rust wanted years ago.

OP - What area are you in that is impacted? Also, please give us a follow up post with the numbers. So far I know Proximity is hit hard (8000 > 5000), Ad Services is going down +/- 50%, L&D is going down 50%. And lets not forget the office closings in Parsippany & Tacoma. The streets are flowing red with the old SF hit me stickers, from those that used to bleed red & white...

Agree! It's very unprofessional to have a manager's meeting on a Friday, and then tell them to share the information with their units on Monday. So, invites went out immediately! Why not wait to send the invites out on Monday am for a Monday pm mtg? Another stupid decision made by our moronic leaders. And, just who the hell has any brains left in this Company? I know it's not Directors or above at this point!

(The 3-headed beast meeting is Wed.) They always say "no news is good news", so I'm assuming Monday's mtg is going to be horrible news! God save us all!!
