Instead of worrying “ who is next”,

just go to work , take care of the

members. When / if something happens, you will be notified.

Soft lines is going to go.. the center of the store is going to be converted to a Plus/credit clinic. For non conforming members.. unknown “conditioning” to these members will be applied till they upgrade and apply for credit

It will never be over. Changes will continue to be made regardless of how important you think your position is. Plan for your future because this company will eventually drop you in favor of a lower wage associate.

I heard PTC and Rec. Clerk are next. All there work is being out sourced to 3rd party and Home Office . Nothing more for them to do.

PTC, Membership Coordinator, receiving clerk, accounting to part-time, and claims to part-time. Paperless means wages cut to save money. Company for a 5% comp this year and major cuts will allow this. A push in Scan and Go for next two years to cut cashiers in half to go all automated. Last focus to Online that is why free shipping is important to compete at Amazon level. Paperless, Scan and go, and online will push to compete. So where does that leave you? If you can some technology background or a degree towards digital, then you might be out the game. It’s a higher education talent the company wants to push. That’s why Managers we’re restructured to be the best talent.
