You people have to get over it Technology will replace many of the support positions. We are a tech company now no more WFM.

Anyone in those positions have been aware the job is changing and had been changing for 5 years. Payroll is no longer done in stores.. there is one person doing it For the region. Workday moved a lot responsibility to leadership. Hr and terminations can be done with a person over the phone like in other companies. The company has moved to online files and tempting to outsource leave of absences. In my region safety shoes are done directly with the source by the team member.. the only thing really not on its way out yet is new hire orientation and doing the I9 to legal standards. My metro now has one per 4 or 5 stores so really it store is paying for 24 hours a month for someone to gather papers and scan a lot of forms
They should be done away with in store a metro can do 5 stored 1 per day what do the astl’s do
Can’t believe thete’s so many different positions in the different regions still. BOSS- benefits and onboarding specialist. 1 for 2 stores in NC.

Never heard of BOSS. In our region PBS was eliminated two years ago. We have a part time PBS now and an occasional visiting Metro PB-whatever..cant remember the damn acronym.
We still have PBS in the MA region.
What Region still has PBSs? SOPAC's were sent packing long ago. Anyone know what TMS positions still exist in SOPAC?
