The free vta pass comes in quite handy from time to time.
It's attached to the badge. What if I "lose" my badge a few days before my last day of employment?
Can I still use the vta pass after leaving Cisco or can Cisco "disable"/"blacklist" it?

"The VTA is yours to keep for life. If you loose it a replacement will provided irrespective of whether you are employed at Cisco." I got that response from the HR rep here in SJ.

Having a VTA pass is NOT worth giving up your job at Cisco. Would not try it.
Maybe you should pay for a few days yourself before you get your new job? I can send you a few dollars if needed.
I thought the VTA pass was merely a little hologram-sticker they put on your badge?
Since you've actually been using it, you'd know whether it's merely shown it to the driver or if it interacts with some electronic fare device onboard the vehicle.
I had to Google this, but VTA is the Silicon Valley transit authority. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Cisco will turn off this pass at some point after you terminate employment. You also lose access to the Cisco break room coffee.
This doesn't affect Lawrenceville.
Why don;t you try asking Cisco HR? For g_ds sake this is a site to moan on about redundancies not your stupid pass for whatever that is.
