A lot of wishful thinking here. I actually think it’ll be just like 2015, where they’ll just get rid of a few engineer/sr engineer in each group, and call it a day. Q will be even more top heavy than right now, but somehow life goes on
How about Director's and VP's doing Engineers job ? Will they survive. Little worried due to poor visibility.

Anyone's guess would be, If not this time then be ready for the next appraisal season. Appraisals will be get high level of scrutiny and plenty will be put in performance program.
