Apparently, IBM is one of the five companies who have had a rather miserable week due to the report that came out earlier and has spread like wildfire since then.
All I can say to it right now - good. Hopefully something will actually come out of this.

Everyone who's been at IBM for more than a couple years is aware of it, yes. But people with no affiliation aren't necessarily aware. I know that in the days since that article came out, I've had non-IBMer friends asking me how much of it is true from what I've seen. If nothing else, this brings it all to the public eye.
That said, I doubt anything actually comes of this. We can hope that Ginni will finally step down, being as that's long overdue, but even if she does who knows how the next person will be.
Everyone is all excited that "something will actually come out of this". FORGET IT! The only new thing here is that someone wrote down what everyone already knew.
