Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Eddy gets a 24% raise.

Sears CEO Eddie Lampert only gets a salary of $1 a year to run the troubled retailer. But he does get a stock bonus, and for 2017 that bonus increased by $850,000, giving him a 24% raise.

hid - you're exactly right. It makes me crazy to see him take his monthly allocation at $0 per share and the dilution isn't meaningful. A good leader would not be taking this money though since he created this situation and he continues to cash out while so many employees are suffering.

"despite diluting his share holders."

@mjv At least there aren't very many meaningfully-sized shareholders left besides himself and his own hedge fund.

So raises only exist for one of the only people in the company that actually don't need it. Awesome.

Read the Vanity Fair article; nonoe like Eddie. He has burnt the brideges of his frientds and associates to enrich himself. No matter what happen to SHC Eddie is a pariah to everyone in the business world and in his personal life. I just wonder what his wife and friends think about him.

He also gets a monthly stock grant which he has consistently claimed, despite diluting his share holders. He is a walking POS.
