Do we have any news on layoffs? It's been rather quiet around here lately, so I'm wondering if that's a good thing or a bad thing?

They laid off some of the best and loyal employees. To Sean and his minions loyalty is a tool to use against your employees. It has been and always will be one sided. You are supposed to be loyal to the company. The SLT to the employees ... Not even a part of their thought processes.
