I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to fall asleep tonight. Today was utterly nerve wrecking, and now it seems like we're looking at another similar day tomorrow.
The anticipation is killing me. To be honest, if I'm to be laid off I wish I was notified today. Prolonging this agony is just cruel and unusual punishment.

Yes I feel the same...not worth it to constantly have to worry if you will get added to the list next quarter with never-ending cuts, year after year. Really don't want to work at IBM for much longer unless they get new leadership with a clear business direction that makes sense.
Everyone ..there are better companies out there to work for. I was RA d last year and found work within 3months. The company I work for now really look after their employees. There is a big bright light at the end of tunnel for all. Not matter what age you are. You have the skills no just use them elsewhere where you'll be appreciated.
I wonder how many people were at Think last week and will be unemployed next week.
I was resourced today. This is life changing. I just finished training for a new position. This has been a real punch in the gut.

Whatever happens you'll be better off...
If your situation at all permits it, just get your resume out there and get out of IBM. There's no future and nothing but stress. Those who are 'survivors' will be saddled with more work and more unrealistic expectations, and still have the spectre of the next layoff hanging over their head every day. Life is too short.
