Could anyone confirm what the pay scale is in Dell now? I believe it as follows but would like confirmation:
Adviser 45k - 60k
Senior Adviser 60k - 80k
Consultant 80k +

I think the pay is fair, I've made over 90k a year over the last 2 years with no college degree as an IC in sales @ Round Rock. I had a "bad" year in 2015 and "only" made 85k.
that is why everything goes to India and Dr YouTube can actually stay as long as he wishes. That is what MSD wants.
Oh... We are really cheap... Converting rupees to $ we don't earn more than 1/10 th of us wages. f..k.
This is how the payscale goes in Hopkinton

Check there. Probably their comments are more sincere than here
It depends on location and function (mkt, fin, hr, eng, etc.). Also, depending on the state.
It’s difficult to compare Legacy Dell to Legacy EMC.
Are you asking about base pay or total comp? That makes a huge difference.
Mine is dell legacy, senior advisor, Texas, finance, base of $93k.
Advisor 80-100k
Snr Advisor 100-130k
Consultant/snr manager 130-170k
Director 170-220k?
pretty sure it's a quarter of the above for low cost country.
It is very silly to compare Dell with Amazon and Google. Of course they pay a hell lot more. If you're good go ahead and join the giants.
apart from department it also depends on your country of work. Some roles in countries like India has really low mid points thus no matter how low they pay they can get a cheaper you in India.
This could be a useful thread :) anyone else want to post the pay scale they are aware of as well as the dept that you worked in?
dell pays peanut, companies like amzn, gogl cares about their emplys ( 240 + stock upward) it is not difficult to make a million for an experienced in four five yrs.
OP is a little low. Previous poster was closer. Also grade mappings. Sr Ad = Manager grade, Con = Director grade.
Does anyone know what the pay scales are specifically for marketing roles? Would be very interested to know. Thanks!
Depends on your department and everything has a range. High-end range for adviser was in the $90k range, high-end sr. was about $145k, consultant starts around $145-150k I believe. The ranges overlap and Dell likes to bring folks in at the low and middle of a range most of the time for growth and raises. This is total comp (pay + bonus).
