People are realy in panic mode here cuz the cost per capita is the highest among locations.

QCA engineering does need to worry. Moving many activities to India.

Qualcomm should move headquarter to bat area and feel how others run. Staying in SD reduces competition with peers. Bay area is the most active in technology among the whole world.
@gdr i was always wondering the same! Why would bay people worry? If they are competent, they will be up to a new opportunity in no time, with a nice q package to sweeten the deal. Why worry? I guess they are worthless and they know it.
Engineering positions should be safe. Most hit will be high titles with little productivity, Sales, CE, and support roles. The comment I heard was “chaos reigns.”
Why are you guys in a panic mode? Silicon Valley is the best hi tech jobs hub in the entire world. It should be the San Diego and Raleigh guys that should panic.
