From $5,000 bonuses down to zilch.
GTS is done, stick a fork in them.
And that means their Hybrid Cloud offering too no matter how many NA wins emails they send.
I received .8% in mid March. I am in Canada
I got 0.7% which would be comical except for the fact that things could be so much worse with all the ongoing layoffs.
I got hosed this year, but Ginni cashed in I am sure.
Thanks a lot IBM
I am sure Ginni received her bonus
The move to the checkpoint system probably messed this all up. I was laid off in 2017 and should have been able to participate in GDP based on working 1/2 of 2017. But I suspect that 1) the payouts were very limited (despite ‘tax reform’) and 2 nonpayments were made to employees who were laid off in 2017. This is as opposed to the way it happened in the past, when even laid off employees received some portion of GDP. I was a manager in 2016 when GDP was paid and that’s exactly what happened - I got to call a laid off employee and tell him he had earned some GDP.
This year in our group the allocated payout funding pool was 1% of overall salaries. The actual payout to each employee was totally arbitrary and decided by their manager and 2nd level. Some people received a small bonus ($1-2k), some received zero. All dependent on the personal "feelings" of management.
March, 0.7%.
I got $900 pre-tax which is definitely less than 1%. I'm work at home for a group that is supposed to be all in the office so I am definitely on the chopping block but no ETA. Turns out they can't offer us a move package to Armonk because there is not any room available in North Castle. HR said they can't lay us off (unless part of RA) so waiting for more room in Armonk so they can offer a move package I won't take so I can get laid off. Interesting times. We were originally told in Dec 2016 that we would be laid off "soon" since were not in NY.
I was lucky enough to get a GDP payment this year, was paid mid March (3/15/2018 I believe). As my manager explained it, the % is much more complicated now that we have stopped the single number performance rating, and moved to multiple ratings over several areas. So where used to be able to say if you got a 2+ overall performance rating, you got a X % GDP payout, now the conversation was more like, "I was able to get you a x % GDP".
The bonuses are usually paid in mid-March. I didn't get one this year and my manager never said anything about it. Did anybody get one?
