Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

There is life after Macy's

To all my friends being affected with a horrible Macy's layoffs .... my last day was February 3 cosmetics .

I am thankful that it worked at Macy's because I know that I can handle multiple counters to do multiple things because we never had adequate help ! Also do not be scared there is light at the end of the tunnel . I did take me three weeks but I did land A job at Nordstrom Chicago flagship store .

Yes it is a longer commute but guess what ? This came with the huge pay rate increase (9k plus) not including commissions ! The other positive is they were so crappy to their employees that I feel like a complete princess working at a beautiful store like Nordstrom !!

I've never been out of work before in my life and it was so for A month ! If you are a hard worker he will find another job a better job with a better company ! They do exist it's just we must leave our comfort zone's to seek it out (:

Both company’s were affected by getting political as well. You need Republicans and Democrats as they are customers! Duh!!! Nordstrom’s stock is doing much better than Macy’s though!!

Not true! Nordstrom’s policies are great along with their customer service. Macy’s is awful to their customers and employees and they are leaving in groves! You need customers or you’ll close doors...FACT!

Nordstrom= Macy's in 5...4....3...2...

You will soon discover that the retail implosion is not limited to any particular store, but starts with the weakest and moves to the entire sector.
